About this role
Starting with a deep understanding of the needs and behaviours of our users, we're working with a leading furniture and lifestyle brand to rebuild a legacy b2b platform. As lead interaction designer you will be helping to solve complicated design problems that marry interface touch-points with business processes.

  • Work with stakeholders to deliver value while advocating for the needs of users
  • Insure that this new system is intuitive and consistent, while remaining flexible enough to adapt to future business and user needs.
Day to day tasks
  • Auditing existing systems in order to understand business and process requirements, and then applying those learnings to the construction of ideal user flows and system maps.
  • Design and deliver wireframes, user journeys, and mockups optimized for an enterprise environment
  • Make strategic design and user-experience decisions to refine core functions as well as pioneering new features
  • Work with wider product teams to inform consistency, and engage with development to insure smooth handoff and high-quality implementation of interfaces
  • Understanding internal stakeholders and customers through quantitate face to face and remote research
  • Bi-weekly stakeholder engagement and presentation of work

  • 99% remote. As long as you can attend meetings and occasionally travel for research trips, you can work from anywhere in the world.(The team is currently spread between the USA, Germany, and the UK)

  • High ownership and responsibility. We aren't here to micro-manage. As long as you understand the problems and needs of the project, you define the deliverables and make the decisions.

  • 3 or more years UX design experience.
  • Proven, live examples of enterprise systems you've worked on. A strong portfolio of work that demonstrates systematic and creative design as well as a deep understanding of HCD thinking.
  • Deep understanding of Interaction design best practices, methodologies, and patterns
  • Experience conducting qualitative research sessions. Both foundational understanding of user behaviours as well as usability testing of interfaces.
  • Self-starter capable of handling ambiguous problem-spaces. Familiar with the process of framing a problem, exploring solutions, and iterating upon concepts
  • Ability and passion to clearly and effectively communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions to the end client
  • Comfortable using the major design tools (Figma, etc.)
  • Experience building and testing prototypes with any of the major tools(Figma, InVision, Principle, etc. )
  • Ability and desire to travel and work internationally (USA/EU).

Nice to haves
  • A working knowledge of web technologies and frameworks (HTML & CSS, JS, React, Node, etc.)
  • Experience working with a development team and the ability to talk about technical pieces of our work.
