About the Role

As UX Lead at Crayon, you will play a key role in establishing, driving, and articulating the product vision for Crayon's competitive intelligence platform. Working closely with product and engineering leadership, you will help refine our shared understanding of Crayon's core users, the goals they hope to achieve, and the challenges they face. You will then help conceptualize and develop elegant solutions to these problems. You will also be expected to act as champion of user-focused design, helping increase the UX maturity of the product organization as a whole, and infusing UX into every phase of the product process.


  • Collaborate and iterate with other passionate product leaders
  • Articulate complex ideas via verbal / written communication, whiteboarding, and wireframing
  • Zoom out far enough to steer towards 3-5 year product vision
  • Zoom in close enough to incrementally improve UX with every deployment
  • Develop and reinforce methodologies that lead to high level of quality and consistency
  • Help the organization learn how to think like users, reduce friction, and get to "wow!"


  • Startup experience with small, high-velocity product organizations
  • Minimum 5+ years of UX leadership experience, preferably in SaaS industry
  • Experience with B2B products a strong plus
  • A compelling portfolio of simple solutions to complex problems
  • Rave reviews from former product and engineering peers
